With a strong background in home design and a thorough understanding of the Building Industry, Vance Jenkin is one of the best in the business.

In the 23 years he has spent in the Building Industry, Vance has worked in several different roles.

“Most of my experience in the Building Industry has been spent as the lead designer for a small firm in Broome. This role also involved estimating, scheduling, client liaison and sales.”

His extensive experience in the industry and his technical knowledge with design and construction allows Vance to deliver the best to his clients.

“Having these skills enables me to sketch ideas and find solutions quickly for my clients,” he said.

“My experience helps me challenge ideas that are non-compliant or not economical in structural terms, which will ultimately save my clients’ time and money.”

Sharing the company’s core values of relentlessness, authenticity, excellence, fun, passion and leadership, Webb & Brown-Neaves is a perfect fit for Vance.

“I strongly relate to the company’s core values,” he said. “It is refreshing to work with a company and colleagues who are like-minded in being authentic, transparent and respectful and strive to be the best in the business.”

WB Sales Manager Peter Chellew and WB Sales Development Manager David Smyth agree that Vance is one of the best.

“At Webb & Brown-Neaves, we try to build a high-performance sales culture, and Vance really encapsulates this in both his work and his behaviours,” Simon Brady, WB Sales Manager said.

“He’s an all-rounder that performs exceptionally well in every aspect of his work.”

“As a seasoned designer with years of experience all over the state, Vance is incredibly equipped to provide design solutions for unique lots,” WB Operations Manager, David Smyth added.

“Vance’s attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond for his customers is what sets him apart. He has a great temperament and is trusted by the Executive Team to look after key clients of the business.”

Vance has won numerous awards during his time at Webb & Brown-Neaves, including Sales Professional of the Year, Sales Consultant of the Year, Most Valuable Consultant and Employee of the Year – all multiple times.

“I am extremely proud of these achievements and representing Webb & Brown-Neaves at the ABN Group Employee of the Year Awards was the highlight,” Vance said.

“Vance is the business’s reigning employee of the year, showing his ability to work with all internal stakeholders to get the best outcomes for his clients,” David said.

For a Building and Design Consultant, the role is an unpredictable and exciting one. They work with all different types of clients, whether that be upsizers, downsizers, investors, or those wanting to see their dream home come to life.

“I love the variety in my day. From designing homes, to site analysis meetings, to meeting clients who ultimately become close acquaintances. No two days are the same.”

Something else Vance loves about working for ABN Group’s premium flagship brand, is the opportunity to work with like-minded, talented people.

“It sounds corny and clichéd, but I love the people I work with. There is a huge amount of talent in this company and collectively we produce high quality homes with a service to match.”

“I feel quite lucky that I can make a living pursuing my passions, particularly architecture and design,” he said.

“I enjoy sharing this passion with my clients, which has helped me to achieve ‘Sales Professional of the Year’ for three of the last four years at Webb & Brown-Neaves.”
