THE ROGERS FAMILY
Mount Claremont local, Deborah Rogers completed the build of her dream Hamptons style home in March 2020. We spoke with her about her unique building experience and the reasons behind her decision to build with WB.
After purchasing their established property in Mount Claremont, Deborah and her family made the decision three years later, that their family of six needed more room and it was time to demolish and rebuild their family home.
“I had done my research and gone around and seen a lot of display homes and decided that Webb and Brown-Neaves was the builder that was giving me what I wanted.”
THE BIGGERSTAFF FAMILY
Webb & Brown-Neaves clients, Les & Dot Biggerstaff moved into their new home in July 2020. We spoke with Les and Dot about their building journey and the special family history involved in the build.
“My parents moved from Toodyay to Perth in 1974 and bought this block for around $35,000. Les and I came out here often to care for my Dad who was living by himself at the time. Since my father passed away Les and I decided that we would keep the block and build our own dream home.”
THE GUTHRIE FAMILY
With a growing family comes the need for a growing house. Knockdown and Rebuild clients, Bianca and Leon Guthrie found that their old home could no longer sustain their family of five, and decided to look for something more suitable. They spent quite some time looking at established homes with little success.
“We couldn’t find anything we liked in the right location and the homes that were in our price range all needed a lot of work,” said Bianca.
THE FAR FAMILY
With a passion for interior design and a dedication to her Instagram account, second-time Webb & Brown-Neaves client Jen Farr truly enjoys the building process. Her fascination with design has led her to build a second Webb & Brown-Neaves home which was completed in February 2020.
“My favourite part of the building journey is looking for the perfect design and tweaking it to suit my needs,” she said.
THE COLLINS FAMILY
Every one of our clients has a different build story, and this is especially true for Dominic and Rebecca Collins, who have never actually lived in their Webb & Brown-Neaves home.
Dominic and Rebecca bought an old house in East Perth in 2006, which Dominic described as “the worst house in the best location.” But, not being ready to build just yet, they cleaned the house up and lived in it for 10 years, all the while considering whether to renovate or demolish and rebuild.
CHERISH AND CLARK
WB Clients Cherish & Clarke moved into their new Webb & Brown-Neaves home in February. They talk about their decision to build, rather than buy, and why they love the location they live in.
“We have two beautiful kids. We have our son who is 9 and our daughter who is 7,” Cherish said. “Part of the reason for building in this area is because they go to school not far from here. It just makes it very easy and they can walk or ride their bikes to school, and they have some friends in the area.”
THE MUIR FAMILY
Downsizers Kerry and Jon Muir built their first Webb & Brown-Neaves home 16 years ago. For their second build, they chose to go with WB again, with their new home in Waterman’s Bay which was completed in December 2017.
“When we decided that we wanted to build again, we didn’t think twice. We just came straight back to Webb & Brown-Neaves because we were so happy with the quality and the people that we dealt with. It was a very good decision,” Kerry said.
