Nick has been in the Building Industry for more than 15 years. “As a previous business owner in the Building Industry, this experience has provided me with invaluable knowledge in all aspects of business, which allows me to excel in my current role.”

With a keen eye for detail and a passion for customer satisfaction, Nick ensures no stone is left unturned in creating the perfect home for his clients. “I am a great listener and genuinely care about helping my clients achieve their dream home, and I take the necessary time to understand the needs and requirements of my clients to achieve the best result.”

“Every day is rewarding, and I am incredibly lucky to work in some of Australia’s best and award-winning homes.”

For a WB Building & Design Consultant, the role is dynamic and exciting. “Every day is different, and can consist of being contacted by new clients, visiting potential sites, sketching a home design, presenting a proposal, visiting homes under construction, or showing someone through a display. Every day is fun.”

This is something Nick loves about his role, as it gives him the flexibility to be able to spend time with his family. “I have a passion for everything building, yet I am also driven by another passion – my family,” he said.

“I am a family man at heart and value all of the quality time I spend with them.”

Nick’s top building tips:

1. Ascertain your budget for the home, land, and finishes. Work out your must-haves as well as things that could possibly be done at a later stage if required.

2. Location, location, location! Decide on which area you would like to live in. Consider the things that are important to you and what you would like to live close to.

3. What size block do you need? Think about the size of home you require and get advice from an expert.

4. Choose your builder. Research before you decide on your builder and be clear on your requirements for your home design, inclusions, siteworks and building time frames.

5. Your consultant is crucial. Look for an experienced consultant who understands your requirements and the potential of your block, and will be available through all stages of the building journey.

6. Decide on what features you may want to include in your home design and think about the style of home you would like. Do you prefer a modern look, Hamptons style, contemporary, or traditional?

7. Lastly – enjoy the building journey!
